U.S. Virgin Islands, March 14, 2007 A review of last year’s accomplishments and programs, elections, and an informative presentation by Peter Odle, President of the Caribbean Hotel Association will highlight the upcoming Annual Membership Meeting of the USVI Hotel & Tourism Association. The luncheon meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, March 21, 2007, at the Frenchman’s Reef Marriott beginning at 12 noon.
Odle, a tourism veteran with over 25 years in the industry, will share his insights on the Caribbean brand versus other popular destinations and how we can all work together to keep the Caribbean top of mind. He will serve as President of CHA for two years and also holds the posts of Chairman of the Barbados Tourism Authority and the National Tourism Marketing Committee in Barbados.
The Association’s annual report will be distributed and election of new board members will take place. A press conference will be held immediately after the meeting.
The meeting is complimentary for Hotel & Tourism Association members. A nominal fee of $25 will be assessed to non-members. Lunch is included.
