Video Marketing

Odds are you spend time online watching videos. Most people do. So having video as part of your social media strategy is smart.

Videos tend to increase the time spent by visitors on websites, so that extended time builds trust and signals search engines that your site has good content. According to Moovly, you are 53 times more likely show up first on Google if you have a video in your online marketing. Since Google now owns YouTube, there has been a significant increase on how much videos can influence your search engine ranking.

According to Wyzowl, 61 percent of businesses have started using video content marketing. Two-thirds of those companies were not using video a year ago.

Video production is not the easiest nor cheapest solution, especially if you are aiming for professional caliber footage, but most businesses report that video provides strong ROI. The good news is video editing tools are becoming more affordable and accessible, and you can make decent videos on your smartphone if you learn the right way to use the technology.

So make sure you are looking for ways to include video on your website and social media channels. It’s a great way to give travelers a feel for our islands and for your business.
