As general manager of Jetblue Airways in the U.S. Virgin Islands, Joseph Pacillo’s goal is to make sure guests feel welcome when coming to the U.S. Virgin Islands. Pacillo and his staff work hard to make sure airline visitors are surrounded by the warmth of the island and its culture as soon as they arrive.

“As a new board member and an airline representative, I can offer the board my unique perspective of our visitors’ experience as it relates to their arrival, stay and departure satisfaction,” said Pacillo. “When travelers make the decision to visit our islands, they are entrusting us to provide them with a positive experience. It is my passion and goal to ensure that their expectations are exceeded.”

Prior to his current position, Pacillo owned an advertising and print media company for 20 years and produced tourism material for Florida and the Caribbean. This previous experience paired with his current position have provided him with a unique insight into the tourism industry. Pacillo brings this experience to the board as one of our newest members, assisting in making each visitor’s vacation top notch.

“By working together as a team and listening to our customers’ overall assessment of their stay here in the islands, we can continue striving to improve our visitors’ experience. Making sure that visitors have a voice that is heard, so that we can focus on any areas that may need strengthening, will ensure that our efforts are aimed in the right direction.”
