Delta Air Lines and Seaborne Airlines, the largest Caribbean airline, have expanded an agreement which allows customers to purchase a single ticket for select flights between the United States and Caribbean. Additionally, SkyMiles members can earn miles on Seaborne flights booked through Delta.

Through Delta, customers can book travel with connections to Seaborne-operated flights between:

• San Juan, Puerto Rico and St. Croix
• St. Thomas and St. Croix
• San Juan and Anguilla
• San Juan and Beef Island, British Virgin Islands

“The Delta-Seaborne partnership will give our customers more options when traveling to or from the Caribbean, expanding our reach throughout the region and increasing the number of destinations we serve,” said Nicolas Ferri, Delta’s Vice President for Latin America and the Caribbean. “This agreement also provides the benefits of coordinated customer service, such as a single ticket and bag check-in process. We look forward to continuing to grow our partnership and providing our customers with even more convenience and connectivity in the future.”

Delta plans future expansions of their agreement, pending government approvals. This expansion would include Delta-coded Seaborne Airlines–operated routes to four new destinations from San Juan, Puerto Rico.

• Dominica (DOM)
• Nevis, Saint Kitts and Nevis (NEV)
• La Romana, Dominican Republic (LRM)

It will also provide enhanced coverage, with increased frequencies and service available on more days of the week thanks to the Delta-Seaborne connections being offered in addition to Delta’s direct flights, to three points it already serves:

• St. Kitts, Saint Kitts and Nevis (SKB)
• Antigua, Antigua (ANU)
• St. Croix (STX)

This agreement complements Delta’s current service to the Caribbean, extending the airline’s flight numbers and fares to ten Seaborne markets, with up to 40 daily round-trip flights. The codeshare flights will connect to and from San Juan (SJU), which Delta serves with four daily flights from Atlanta and five daily flights from New York-JFK during the peak season, with seasonal Detroit and Minneapolis/St. Paul to San Juan routes as well. With this agreement, customers flying to and from the Caribbean will be able to access Delta’s main hubs in the U.S., allowing them to connect to the rest of the world through the airline’s global network.

Seaborne is based out of San Juan, Puerto Rico.
