Individuals interested in learning the ins and outs of the grant writing process are urged to register early for the upcoming course — Introduction to Grant Writing. The course will be held 5:45 to 8:45 p.m. on Tuesdays starting Sept. 6. Sessions will be held at the UVICELL Center, located at #23A Hospital Street, Frederiksted, St. Croix.

The course will provide participants with practical information to successfully construct and complete a grant proposal. Topics will include: types of grants and funding; proposal basics; leveraging resources; budget construction; and much more. The course is open to individuals from non-profit organizations, schools, government agencies and other public entities.
