US Virgin Islands Hotel & Tourism Association

VIPCA has been enquiring with the Governor, since his providing of the 6th Supplemental Executive Order, whether charter vessels may operate with Virgin Islands Resident clients on a USVI only itinerary prior to the territory re-opening June 1st to tourists.

During the Press Conference May 7th at 1pm, Governor Albert Bryan Jr. announced: Virgin Islands residents are allowed to check-in to VI hotels for staycations. “We’ve also allowed for the Dive Shops, Day Sails and Excursions to operate using the same protocols as any other business”. Like other non-essential business those services are now open to VI residents, as long as the business adheres to the social distancing protocols outlined in the governor’s 6th Supplemental Executive Order.
