Virgin Islands National Park Announces 1st Community Engagement Opportunity of 2025 to Share General Park Updates
ST. JOHN, U.S. Virgin Islands— Virgin Islands National Park will host a meeting on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, from 5:45 PM to 6:45 PM as part of the park’s regularly-scheduled public meetings. Anticipated topics include: the Second Phase of environmental cleanup work at Caneel Bay, water system project at Trunk Bay, Hassel Island, additional preservation work at the historic Cinnamon Bay Danish Warehouse, as well as the mapping of cultural resources and documenting archaeological resources at the Caneel Bay Area.
The meeting will be hosted in the Resource Management and Science (RMS) building conference room at Lind Point. We look forward to seeing you all. Limited parking is available at the Resource Management and Science building. A shuttle will be provided from the Cruz Bay Visitor Center at 5:30 PM local time and leave Lind Point at 6:45 PM.
