Implementation of New National Park Service Commercial Use Authorizations Policy at Virgin Islands National Park

ST. JOHN, U.S. Virgin Islands—

Virgin Islands National Park would like to invite the local communities of St. John and St. Thomas to a public meeting to be held at the new Resources Management and Science conference room the evening of July 10th at 5:45 PM local time.  This meeting’s topic will be an overview of the new concession management policies that govern new online Commercial Use Authorizations (CUA) issued by National Park Service entities, which began to roll out in many parks for the 2024 application process.

In the July 10th meeting, we will be discussing the new CUA policy and how it affects all CUA businesses within Virgin Islands National Park starting with the 2025 application process. These changes will be fully implemented at Virgin Islands National Park beginning January 1, 2025.  This meeting will be an opportunity to ask questions and learn more about the timeline for the new CUA program.

We look forward to seeing you all at the public meeting on July 10, 2024, at the Virgin Islands National Park Lind Point Resource Management and Science buildings at 5:45 PM local time. A shuttle will be provided from the Cruz Bay Visitor Center at 5:30 PM local time and leave Lind Point at 6:45 PM.
