The USVI and STR are working together to track the lodging performance of the USVI and also assist hoteliers to understand the importance of benchmarking. At the training session on March 16, Fatima Thompson, associate director of business development, hotels Caribbean & Mexico as well as Rico Louw, client account manager at STR, will go over the importance of benchmarking and the vital role it plays in your hotel’s revenue management strategy. The session will cover why benchmarking is important for your hotel, how to participate and how to read the STAR Report.

What the training session will cover:
You already use STR’s STAR report to analyze, identify, develop and monitor new opportunities and areas of improvement for your property. In this training session, we’ll take you through the STAR reports and provide you with an in-depth look at its advanced data metrics, KPI drilldowns and historical data breakouts. You will also learn how the use the new Food & Beverage STAR as well as other complimentary add-ons for your STAR report.
