US Virgin Islands Hotel & Tourism Association

What is top of mind for industry leaders and everyone in the hospitality and tourism sector throughout the Caribbean? What challenges and opportunities lie ahead, and how are our colleagues working through them? What steps are you taking to address today and the days and months to come, and what best practices can you share to help us all?

You will want to join us as the Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association launches our CHTA Roundtable virtual meetings, starting in early September. Each Friday for six weeks, different peer groups will join together on a Zoom meeting to receive a brief industry update, hear perspective from leaders in the region, and share in candid dialog regarding your challenges, successes, and best practices that you can share with others in similar roles. We will review CHTA’s resources that have been made available throughout the pandemic, and gather your thoughts on how the association can best serve you now and into the future.

The six peer groups who will be invited to participate include:

• Hospitality owners

• Hospitality managing directors and general managers

• Hospitality and tourism allied members and suppliers

• Hospitality Human Resources leaders

• Tourism business leaders (e.g. attractions, restaurants, other tourism providers)

• Spanish-speaking hospitality and tourism stakeholders

To best facilitate candid discussion and peer networking, each session will be limited to 40 participants, and will be scheduled for 60 minutes. If demand exceeds the available slots for each meeting, we’ll hold additional same-day meetings to accommodate those who wish to participate.

Watch your e-mail for your invitation to register and participate; we look forward to welcoming you to a CHTA Roundtable in the coming weeks.

Please contact CHTA’s COO Vanessa Ledesma, or CHTA Regional Vice President and Membership committee chairman Bill Clegg, if you have any questions.
