US Virgin Islands Hotel & Tourism Association

Flood Watch was issued for Puerto Rico and the United States Virgin Islands from Tuesday 6 AM to Thursday 6 AM AST.
We are still monitoring a significant rain event from Tuesday through Thursday across the islands.
The most affected areas are expected to be the south, interior and east of Puerto Rico, as well as all of the U.S. Virgin Islands. These rains will increase the potential for urban and flash flooding, along with rapid river rises and mudslides. Strong gusty winds are also possible with the strong showers and thunderstorms.
Attached are the most likely rainfall scenario, as well as the worst case rainfall scenario, and the flood potential for the peak of the event. Please stay tuned for further updates .
